Methods of information retrieval using Web of Science: pulmonary hypertension as a subject exampleCITECH Ltd, Iver, Buckinghamshire, UK, tony.cawkell{at}mailexcite.com Discusses search operations using the Web of Science via a server on the World Wide Web. The facilities include the usual Boolean etc., search on subject and bibliographic details; cited reference query; and related records. A search example is presented from the field of pulmonary hypertension, concluding that the combination of Web technology and the use of citation interconnections provides a fast and useful retrieval mechanism.
