The Ariadne project: an evaluation of a print and Web magazine for library and information science professionals

Reports on an evaluation of the Ariadne project, which involved the production, from 1995 to 1998, of a print and Web magazine for library and information science professionals. Ariadne was one of the few Electronic Library projects aimed at providing a service to this community. The results of the survey indicate that Ariadne has filled a gap and has helped to interpret electronic library issues for librarians and information scientists. Following the completion of this project, a Web version of Ariadne continues to be produced by the UK Office for Library and Information Networking on a quarterly basis.
